Angie Dale

Angie Dale is a reporter who first appears in We Are Cold Steel. She attaches herself to Andy Stains and tries to manufacture a story, which, thankfully for Cold Steel, doesn't happen. Which was just as well, because when Angie Dale's plans come together, everyone around her pays for it.
Angie is the second reporter to feature in the Cold Steel series. I hadn't intended to bring her into the next story, but then I read a review of We Are Cold Steel and the reviewer hoped that Angie would return. 
And so she has.
And she hasn't changed. Everything in Angie Dale's world is about Angie Dale. All she cares about is making sure she ends up on top, and she doesn't care how she gets there. She'll manipulate anyone to get there, and on the whole is definitely one of the bad guys.
But don't we all just love a villain?
So Angie's bad, and she's back. If you liked reading about her in We Are Cold Steel, watch out for her in the third Cold Steel instalment, which will hopefully be out early next year.
And if my novels were ever filmed, and if I was asked to make a choice, I'd offer the role of Angie to Anya Taylor-Joy.
