Vince Fire
Vince Fire is one of Cold Steel's guitarist, playing alongside Andy Stains. He comes from a wealthy Spanish family, but he was always into the music, so his family funded his studies at an expensive London music college. And whether his talent would have got him into Cold Steel or not, that's where he ended up.
His privileged past and classical music education is a polar opposite to Andy Stains, although their differences work really well together in the band. Their rivalry brings out the best in each other as Vince tries to out-play Andy, and he does the same. The creative combination is explosive and produces the music that makes Cold Steel famous.
But the tension between Vince and Andy is what makes them infamous.
Vince usually plays a Gibson SG, customised to his spec of course. He wears designer clothes, has slicked back hair and a soul patch beard, giving him a very un-metal look. His background gives him expensive tastes and an innate snobbery, which often gets him into trouble, sometimes with Andy, sometimes with others.
But as long as Johnny Faslane is there to rescue him, and as long as Vince can tolerate Andy, he'll remain part of the band.
Who could play Vince Fire in a film? My first choice would be Adam Driver. He's got the look absolutely nailed, and if he can handle the Empire in Star Wars, he can handle Cold Steel
